Amavas Review: There is thrill in the movie, but the story itself disappears

Film: Amavas

Artist: Nargis Fakhri, Mona Singh, Sachiin Joshi

Director: Bhushan Patel

Amavas is a thriller horror Bollywood movie. Whenever we talk of this genre, I miss the films like Mama, The Silence of the Lambs, The Sixth Sense, Conjuring IMG VIAseries, Oculus etc. In these films, there is a story, suspense happens, thrills and obviously fear also. But what do we get when we find such movies in Bollywood? Some scary scenes, forcible songs and a lot of drama The story is not known anywhere.

Amavas is like this, just as the moon is not visible in the night of Amavas, in the same way you will not see the story anywhere in Amavas Movie. The use of the effects of small effects and small horror scenes has been used to cover the remaining weak story and to make the film an engangling. Story has just been eliminated in the wake of suspense making. You will find that there is a strong suspension in the film, but in the end the viewer will not get suspense, neither the story nor the story.

story

The story of the film is of Karan Amreja, whose two friends are Maya and Sameer. Karan and Maya love one another. The three have deep bonding among themselves, but due to misunderstanding, there is a crack in friendship. Everything gets ruined. The erosion of waste maintains silence for 10 years. After 10 years, an elephant lost due to an accident, and again, the silence of the ruined wasted, it takes its formidable form. You will have to watch the film to know who else and what comes in its grip.

Lack of big names

Leave Nargis Fakri in the film then there is no big name. Sachin's acting is fine, but his character is suppressed due to the lack of strong dialogues. Nargis' performance also disappointed. He is not seen in his acting. Because of the poor accent of over acting and Hindi, his acting seems faded. Ali Asghar definitely laughs in the role of Goti in the film. Mona Singh's roll too has been kept quite small.

Box office

Due to no big starcast, there was not much banging about the film before. Due to the bad story above, the movie is less likely to get more viewers. On the one hand, where the story of the film is being done at the present time, this film looks quite behind this matter. Ranbir's Gully Boy, which will be released on February 14, will end the film.
